Texas or bust...

Well...tomorrow I will be on my way to Houston, TX to visit my friend Heather. I'm so excited for a little vacation. I am in desperate need of a break from work. Saturday we are going to take a little road trip to Schlitterbahn Water Park in New Braunsfel. It has been voted the #1 Water Park in the states several years in a row. I'm pumped!

Bridesmaid Part Deux

This is me at my friend Tiffany's wedding. I had just turned 21. As you can see with the wine in hand ready to party. I didn't love my dress. Sorry Tiff. :)












This picture was taken at my brother's wedding in West Palm Beach Florida. My sister in-law was nice enough to include me in the wedding party. I think there were 8 bridesmaids and 8 groomsmen total. Most everyone that attended flew in from Washington, Tennensee, and Ohio. There was a cocktail luau the night before at the hotel. Josh got thrown in the pool and my dad was doing shots with everyone at the bar. Very fancy reception at this museum including a live band. Elvis even made an appearance!It was a total blast. OH and I loved my dress even though it was freaking hot outside and I was sweating like a pig.


Here I am at my cousin Ericka's wedding. The wedding was in my parents back yard so it was pretty casual. Lots of fun and my dress is cute!

And the next wedding is...Bobbi Jo! This dress has to be my favorite and most expensive. Alterations galore. I'm thinking about dying this dress black so I can wear it again. I think it looks too bridesmaidie in the lavender.

And here I am busting a move on the dance floor. I danced my ass off at this wedding. So much fun. My parents even came!!



And this is my 8th wedding! My BFF got married last summer and I had the pleasure of being the maid of honor. Loved my dress and this pic is of me and my mom (she performed the ceremony - you can call her Minister Maridy) and yes we're posing like Paris Hilton.

Always a bridesmaid...

As most of you know, I've been a bridesmaid several times. Until recently it seemed I was a bridesmaid in every wedding that I was invited to. I don't know why, I guess people like me or think I look hot in a bridesmaid dress. Looks like I'm in the clear for this summer. So, I thought I'd share a few photos of me as a bridesmaid in the many weddings I've attended.

It all started with my cousin Kara's wedding when I was thirteen. I was a junior bridesmaid/candle lighter. I thought I looked so hot in my green velvet/taffeta dress and my first high heels until I saw the other girls in their green velvet fitted dresses with huge puffy sleeves. Bitches.

The second wedding I was in was my cousin Crystal's. I think I was around 16?? We had our dresses made and I remember having to do tons of fittings and still my dress didn't fit correctly. I hated my hair. Come to think of it, I've hated my in most of the weddings I've been in. I had to have the lining pinned up right before I walked down the aisle. I was the first one down. I think I went to early or walked to fast because it seemed I waited for a really long time for the other girls to get to me. My cousin Ben and my brother were harassing me from the second row. Punks.

Anyway, more exciting dresses to follow!

White Mini Vans...

I can not stand mini vans. I always seem to have the most trouble with the white mini vans (excluding you Amanda) the most.

Hey...I know! Get off your freaking cell phone. Stop cutting me off and running me off the road!!!!

Fun with Bubble Wrap

Work has been crazy lately. My boss decided that we needed to close the door to our office so no one would be able to bother me and my-workers while we were trying to work. After being holed up for many, many, many hours with no windows/sunlight or contact from the outside world (we had to put our phones on DND too) we started to get a bit loopy. There just happened to be a large amount of bubble wrap from a large shipment we had just received in our office. So our bright idea was for me to hide under the bubble wrap and call one of the receptionists (Donna) down to help get rid of the bubble wrap. Little did she know I was hiding under it and when she reached down to pick some up I jumped out and scared her! HA! Here's some photos that were taken...

Ocean Shores

It was a beautiful weekend in Ocean Shores. I got a late start out on Saturday afternoon arriving around 3pm to sunny skies and mid-sixties weather. It was so nice that I didn't even need a coat. Almost unheard of this time of year at the Washington beaches. I walked down the beach to the jetty where there were a bunch of gray whales hanging out in Gray's Harbor. Sunday the weather changed. It was very cold and windy but it didn't rain all day.

I made it back to the jetty hoping to catch sight of the whales again. No such luck but I took some self portaits all bundled up sitting on the rocks. Fun times...

Spring is finally here

After many many weeks of gloomy gray Washington weather, I woke up this morning to SUNSHINE! Just in time for my weekend visit to Ocean Shores. I've checked the weather report and so far so good. Sunny, mid 60's on Saturday. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the good weather holds out. I am so sick of the rain.
